Please contact your Local Union Hall for information regarding your re-classification to Journeyman Wireman (fees, etc).
Upgrades will begin the first working Monday of June. ALL APPRENTICES WHO HAVE TAKEN AND PASSED THE JOURNEYMAN STATE LICENSE EXAMINATION ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A COPY OF THE PRINTOUT FROM PSI TO BOTH THEIR LOCAL UNION HALL AND THE IEETC!

Electric Vehicle Class – EVITP Online (Blended Learning) Training Class
Online Class Fee: $80.00
Notes: This is an online only class and is self-paced. Continuing Education Credits (CEU’s) = 18 Hour Class. Must complete entire class in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and/or Continuing Education Units (CEU’S).
Registration/Completion:
To register for the online class and/or complete the class – email: k.truex@electric.training – INCLUDE: Full Name, Mailing Address and Email Address.
Debit/Credit Card (In-Person ONLY) or Mail Payment (Money Order Only) to: NECA-IBEW Inland Training Fund – 1855 Business Center Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408
Upon receipt of payment, you will be registered for the Online (Blended Learning) Class.
Upon successful completion of the Online EVITP Class, you must take and pass the final written final exam to receive certification for EVITP. The final written exam will be given in person at the IEETC – 1855 Business Center Drive, San Bernardino on select days ONLY. Reference the JW Class Calendar on the website for scheduled exams. To sign-up for one of the scheduled written exams you may call the IEETC @ (909) 890-1703 or email the email address listed above.
Upon completion of the online and written portions of the class, all Completion Certificates/Certifications will be mailed to the mailing address on file.
SATURDAY SCHOOL REQUESTS
Apprentices who are requesting to attend Saturday School in lieu of their regularly scheduled (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) classes due to their current work schedule.
It is the responsibility of the apprentice to provide the following information and email Jon Rowe @ j.rowe@ieetc.org
- Full Name (First & Last)
- Year/Classification & Assigned Instructor
- Contractor
- Job site
- Current Work Schedule
- Estimated Time Working This Schedule (dates)
The Training Center may contact your contractor to verify the information provided.
Apprentices are required to return to their regularly scheduled evening classes following completion of their work assignment.
JOURNEYMAN COMPLETION CERTIFICATES FOR CEU'S
Email requests for Journeyman Completion Certificates for CEU's to - certificates@ieetc.org. Include your name (as it is listed on your State License Card), email address, telephone number, verification of hours (copies of certificates/courses taken for credits). ALL COMPLETION CERTIFICATES WILL BE EMAILED DIRECTLY TO THE EMAIL YOU PROVIDED IN THE REQUEST. NO CERTIFICATES WILL BE PHYSICALLY MAILED.
